ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Frankie and I'm the owner of Penny Pooches.

Animals, especially horses and dogs, have always been a passion of mine and I have worked with horses for over 10 years. After having my first child I decided that I wanted to make a change and work around my family life. With the encouragement of my husband and support from family I went back to college part time and re-trained as a dog groomer. Getting my qualifications did not come easy due to Covid and lockdowns, plus the arrival of our second child. So 2 years after starting, I completed my City and Guilds Level 3 Dog Grooming course and am now fully qualified, ready to begin the next chapter in my career.

The Penny Pooches parlour is located at my home on a farm that my husband manages. I work 1 to 1 with each dog in a very quiet and relaxed salon, ensuring the dog has an enjoyable experience.

I have loved meeting the different dogs, big and small, since we opened in December 2021 and I cannot wait for what the future brings through the Penny Pooches door.
